ÂSuperÂstar Hrithik Roshan is of the opinion that his forthcoming Krrish could well be the birth of Superhero genre in the Indian Film Industry. He along with his father Rakesh Roshan was speaking at the press briefing that was organized for unveiling the ÂKrrish merchandise. This much-looked-forward-to sequel of ÂKoi Mil Gaya has tied up with Pantaloons for merchandise retailing. Through the tie up with Pantaloons, Roshans would like to create a Âdemand for their product and also instill a love thatÂs normally associated with products like those of Superman, Batman and Spiderman.
According to Roshan junior, ÂKrrish as a concept is on the lines of any other superhero story be it Spiderman or Superman. Although he claims that the father-son duo were not Âinspired by any of those in particular but similarity will obviously exist. Hrithik Roshan hasnÂt had a release since ÂLakshya one and a half years ago. The expectations are tremendous. With 750 prints, it is all set to be the biggest release in India ever. Whether the hype lives up to the expectations will be out soon. Over to the D Day: 23rd June, 2006!
